Numbers eased today after weeks of large sales. A good panel of buyers in attendance, however not all processors were operating. The market was generally cheaper across the board however good quality finished cattle were least affected. Heavy bulls and bullocks sold firm to slightly easier. Heavy cows sold firm and medium weight firm to cheaper 8 to 10 cents. Light condition cows experienced big corrections of up to 50 to 80 cents. Feeder cattle were in scarce supply. Weaner cattle were very mixed in quality and light store condition seeing drops in secondary quality cattle of 50 cents to 1 dollar cheaper.
