Clairvale Elsie (AI) (PS)- 2024 heifer, PTIC. By Moreno Mr Polled Kyros (IMP, US) (PS), out of Banarra Delilah. Clairvale Elsie is a big, soft and poll headed 2024 heifer who boasts femininity and docility. She’s PTIC, blue tag as of the 13th of July. She’s a pleasure to do anything with and stands proud and well grown in the paddock. She is presented in paddock condition, where she has been running on natural grasses – a testament to her type, functionality, and ability to do.

Clairvale George – 2023 bull. By Warraka Bryne 3057 (IVF), out of Banarra Fay. Clairvale George is a beautiful big 2023 drop bull with plenty of bone and an impressive frame! He has covered his first lot of females with success; his calves are due this coming spring. His crush side vet test on the 13^th July proved him to be of good working order, with sound and correct conformation. His semen quality was great, with 3/4 density and a score of 80% motility. He is presented here in paddock condition, where he has been running on natural grasses – a testament to his type and functionality. Docile doesn’t even begin to describe him, he truly is a genuinely gentle and easy to handle bull.

 

VENDOR OF THE WEEK – STORE SALE THURSDAY 9TH JULY 2026

Maybrook Pty Ltd of Pillar Valley was selected as the ‘vendor of the week’ at the Farrell McCrohon store cattle sale on Thursday July 9, 2026.  Maybrook consistently produces pens of high-quality Limousin calves, and this week’s offering of 13 weaner steers was no exception.  Amid murmurs of admiration from the audience, the offering sold for 588.2c/kg at an average of 243.5kg to gross $1,432.04/head.  The offering was sold by Farrell McCrohon Stock and Station Agents of Ulmarra.

VENDOR OF THE WEEK STORE SALE 11TH JUNE 2026

Tracey Conroy of Pulganbar was selected as the ‘vendor of the week’ at the Farrell McCrohon store cattle sale held at the Grafton Saleyards on Thursday June 11, 2026.  The vendor had a large offering of 95 head, comprising of 65 steers and 30 heifers.  The steers topped at 544.2c/kg for 10 Angus-cross’ averaging 233kg, grossing $1,267.99/head. Later in the sale, the heifers topped at 462.2c/kg for 2 Charolais-cross calves averaging 155kg, grossing $716.41/head.  The offering was sold by Farrell McCrohon Stock and Station Agents of Ulmarra.

Vendor of the week – Prime Sale 2nd June 2026

JR and BA Carlton of Ulmarra were selected as the ‘vendor of the week’ at the Grafton prime cattle sale on Tuesday June 2, 2026.  Joe and Barb have been saleyard stalwarts for decades, consistently offering high-quality well-finished bullocks year after year. This week’s offering was no different, with the Carlton’s topping the bullock market at 430c/kg.  Overall, their offering of 10 bullocks averaged 423.9c/kg at an average of 690.5kg to gross an impressive $2,927.05/head.  The offering was sold by Farrell McCrohon Stock and Station Agents of Ulmarra

 

Vendor of the week – Store Sale 14th May 2026

CQ Pastoral was selected as the ‘vendor of the week’ at the Farrell McCrohon store cattle sale held at the Grafton Saleyards on Thursday May 14, 2026.  The vendor was selected for their offering of 46 steers ranging in weight from 400kg to 550kg.   The best of the offering was a pen of 11 Angus steers averaging 462.3kg which sold to a Queensland buyer for 456.2c/kg, grossing $2,108.89/head for the vendor.  The offering was sold by Farrell McCrohon Stock and Station Agents of Ulmarra.
