A great line of cattle came forward for the first fat sale of the year. Buyer attendance was good with most processors operating. Bullocks and heavy export heifers were well represented, selling firm to dearer 8 to 10 cents. Heavy bulls sold firm. Cows were in good supply and in demand. The cow market could’ve been 10 to 12 cents dearer across the board. Feeder cattle were in shorter supply and remained fully firm. Some good early weaners were offered and sold well, selling firm to dearer in places. A reminder for our next Store Sale 22nd January 2026.
