VENDOR OF THE WEEK – STORE SALE 16TH APRIL 2026

Dean and Melissa Lawrence were selected as the ‘vendor of the week’ at the Farrell McCrohon store cattle sale held at the Grafton Saleyards on Thursday April 16, 2026. The vendor was selected for their offering of 29 well-bred Angus steers sold off their Lower Clarence property between the M1 motorway and Palmers Channel. The quality grower steers averaged 308.4kg and sold for 419.8c/kg to gross the Lawrence’s $1,295.02/head. The offering was sold by Farrell McCrohon Stock and Station Agents of Ulmarra.

VENDOR OF THE WEEK – Feature Weaner & Store Sale 19th March 2026

Saro Pastoral of Upper Copmanhurst was selected as the ‘vendor of the week’ at the Farrell McCrohon combined weaner and store cattle sale on Thursday March 19. The vendor sold a total of 61 head which included 9 Charolais heifers and a combination of 52 Angus, Charolais, Hereford and Santa-cross steers. It was the pen of Santa-cross steers that topped the offering, selling for 528.2c/kg at an average weight of 280kg to gross Saro $1,478.96/head. The offering was sold by Farrell McCrohon Stock and Station Agents of Ulmarra.
